Shirley AnnPENNSadly, Shirley passed away on Monday 25th August 2025 at University Hospital of Wales, aged 87 years.

Treasured wife of the late Vernon. Mother to Christopher, Jane, Michael and Lynette. Grandmother to Christopher, Tom, Gareth, Dave, Elisabeth, Johnathan, Sam, Tim and Jen, and Great-grandmother to nine.

Resting at Coles Funeral Directors until the service to be held at Thornhill Crematorium (Wenallt Chapel) at 11.30am, prior to burial at Thornhill Cemetery at 12.30pm on Monday 15th September 2025.

Family flowers welcome. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, can be made to British Heart Foundation, Compton House, Unit 2300 The Crescent, Birmingham Business Park, Birmingham, B37 7YE in memory of Shirley.
